We have walked many moons together to reach our destiny
Something that has taken thousands of years
to fulfill the prophecy
Challenges have been faced, and battles have been won
At last, we meet our other half from up above
Chosen to be the one
Scary thoughts and frighting notions still swirl inside or minds
Can this actually be the one I’ve been waiting for?
To live with till the end of time
Will the horrors of both our past still cloud a distant future?
Or will both of us
be brave enough to step through glass to see a beautiful a new picture?
Will the demons win inside both of us to keep this love apart?
Or will one of us be strong enough to enter each other’s heart?

The Little girl gazed with her eyes
The Little girl watched as her world crumbled
The Little girl pleaded as she was ignored
The little girl felt, even though she was violated
The little girl lied, so to feel attention
The little girl had a tantrum to gain some control
The little girl shed tears of sorrow as her world passed her by
The little girl fell down, only to pick herself up again
The little girl continued to exist as the world continued to live
The little girl wondered will she ever find happiness
The little girl was no longer little, but mature in years
The little girl grew, but so did her fears
The little girl died and so did the tears

We all sit one by one, and side by side
Together and yet miles apart
The plates and sliver on the table
make us feel the atmosphere is just right
The foods aroma fills the air with delectable smells
How familiar is the sound of the chatter of the people
who come night after night
to
“The Loner’s Cafe”
They come from all walks of life to taste the “good life”
of food, service, and companionship.
It’s a place to have a bite and hold on to
some type of belonging
A family of stranger’s night after night
but to the customers
it’s
"family"
and
a place to call home.
It might be dining at a dive
or
a
fancy restaurant
But the emotions are the same
for the
“Loners Cafe family”
Away from home
The waiters, and the bus boys
and
the
matrede
Have all become kinship to us
A dream of fellowship
and
“make believe”
Create's the perfect illusion of
Happiness
Peaceful surroundings
and
unity.
The Loner’s Café
is the place to fill
ourselves up
with good cheer and glee
So
night after night
we continue to come
to the place
where it makes our hearts
feel like refuge.
Sad buy true
the lights have to dim
And the divadens of the day will need to be collected
Then the Patrons
of the
Café of Loner’s
“family"
Will continue their travel
side by side
and
one by one
Only to their own place of leisure.
There they will reside
not with their
"Cafe Family"

There was a time when I was blue
The world stood dark for me
I contemplated
was this real?

There was a time when I was blue
The world stood dark for me
I contemplated

yet no one can see

This is a journey and at the moment
I have to travel alone
